The Goose McCoy Music Site

Goose McCoy is a six-piece band. Powerful harmonies, rock-solid rhythms, rich guitars and vibrant saxophone are the order of the day, according to the band's over-worked spin doctor.

The Goose McCoy repertoire comprises cover versions of songs from the fifties, sixties and  seventies. Sometimes even more recent than that.

Upcoming gigs (start time 9pm unless otherwise stated):

Chilwell Road Methodist Church, Beeston Saturday July 25th  2009  7.30pm  (£5, Children & Concessions £2)

Listen to clips from the songs:

Hippy Hippy Shake La Bamba Stand By Me

The band is up for playing interesting gigs and functions for legal money in places that are within comfortable distance of Nottingham. Goose McCoy does not fly south in the winter (because it is not a real goose) but the band has been known to go as far as Leicester- the Riviera of the East Midlands- and as far north as Sheffield.

If you would like to find out more about Goose McCoy's competitive tariffs, please contact Ian Beestin.

Goose McCoy's arch rivals Moose Malloy feature five men of strikingly similar appearance and musical know-how. Moose, however, is an arty kind of band which only plays original material. They look down on Goose McCoy as sell-outs. Goose McCoy look down on Moose Malloy as paupers. In the end nobody wins except the libel lawyers.
